Vale Genta on Building Community and Influence

Community, visibility, and the future of the creator economy took center stage during Paraiso x #NextGen Miami Swim Week at the Delano Hotel in Miami Beach, where Elena Jimenez, Head of E-Commerce atMerdulié, sat down with entrepreneur and creator Vale Genta for an intimate conversation on building meaningful communities.

As the founder of Next Gen Creators, Genta shared the vision behind the platform she launched alongside her brother after recognizing that “something was missing in Miami.” At a time when most opportunities for aspiring creators were concentrated in cities like Los Angeles and New York, she envisioned a space where emerging talent could connect, learn, and grow closer to home.

Reflecting on the early stages of her own career, Genta explained that she created the kind of support system she wished had existed when she was starting out. “I would have loved to have this when I was beginning,” she shared, emphasizing the importance of fostering genuine relationships and access for the next generation of creators.

Looking ahead, Genta sees Next Gen Creators expanding beyond traditional creative hubs. Over the next five years, she hopes to bring the platform to growing markets such as Austin, Tampa, and other cities across the United States, continuing to cultivate communities where creativity and entrepreneurship can flourish.

The conversation reflected a shared belief between Merdulié and Next Gen Creators: that meaningful growth begins with community. As Merdulié participates in these conversations during Miami Swim Week further reinforces our commitment to supporting the voices and visionaries shaping the future of fashion, culture, and digital entrepreneurship.
