On September 30, we gathered our community at Merdulié headquarters to celebrate the launch of Mer de Lumière, our first object for the home. Clients, members of the press, and friends of the house joined us for an evening that marked a new chapter for Merdulié, one that carries our point of view beyond the wardrobe.
The table, arranged by Studio Gargani, set the tone for the night. Guests toasted with Moët & Chandon Champagne and Minuty rosé over a spread of cheese, prosciutto, and olives, along with cookies from Pasticceria Marchesi, flown in from Milan for the occasion. French-inspired music played throughout the evening, a quiet nod to the city where the candle was made.
The highlight of the night came when founder Maria Jimenez raised a toast to the launch, surrounded by the people who have shaped Merdulié's journey so far. For Maria, the candle captures one specific feeling:
“A pause between everything we had achieved and everything that was still to begin.”
We extend our thanks to everyone who joined us, to Moët & Chandon and Minuty for celebrating with us once again, and to our community for following Merdulié into this new chapter.
