Merdulié has been to Paris Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week a couple of times, always for meetings with designers. This September marked two firsts: our first Milan Fashion Week, and our first seat at a runway show. On September 25, founder Maria Jimenez attended Blumarine's Spring/Summer 2027 presentation on Merdulié's behalf, held at Le Cavallerizze of Milan's Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci.

Until now, our time at fashion week had been spent in showrooms, looking at collections up close, piece by piece, alongside the designers who made them. A runway offers something different: the full vision at once, with every look styled, in motion, and in the order the designer intended. For a platform built on curation, seeing a collection that way changes how you understand it.
The moment carried added meaning: Blumarine is joining Merdulié, beginning with its Fall/Winter 2026 collection. Founded in Carpi in 1977 by Anna Molinari, the Italian house is known for its romantic florals and confident femininity. This season, creative director David Koma revisited those signature codes through a more contemporary lens. For a platform still in its first year, welcoming a house with nearly five decades of history is a meaningful step.
“I feel like this opened a lot of possibilities for Merdulié.”Maria Jimenez
For Maria, the show delivered everything she had hoped for. “I completely loved every aspect of the show,” she shared. “The Blumarine prints, sexy and colorful, were exactly what we expected and what we wanted to see.”

Her favorite look paired a short dress with lace trim and a fur jacket. “I think that's something you can wear in every season,” she said. “It's very practical, yet very chic, and it stayed true to the tones and DNA of Blumarine.”
Her choice reflects how Merdulié buys. The pieces we bring in are meant to move between seasons and occasions, and to stay in a wardrobe long after the season they were shown in. Blumarine's lace, florals, and soft textures carry the house's signature romance, but in shapes that are easy to wear.
It is that balance of romance and ease that makes Blumarine a natural fit for Merdulié. The Fall/Winter 2026 collection arrives first, and the pieces Maria saw on the runway in Milan are not far behind.
“As amazing as this collection was, you'll find that next season at Merdulié.”
